Since 2023, a team of members from the Academy of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Physical Therapy has been updating and revising the 2020 heart failure clinical practice guideline (HF CPG) for physical therapists. This webinar will present new research findings and insights since the original 2020 CPG, especially as they relate to the effects of high-intensity interval training, inspiratory muscle training, strength training, telerehabilitation and app-based disease management on various rehabilitation outcomes. We will also highlight recent evidence regarding the management of patients with heart failure with preserved ejection fraction (HFpEF).
