DESCRIPTION
This webinar provides an introduction for healthcare professionals to the role of the neuropsychologist on the interdisciplinary team and the neuropsychological evaluation process to better understand its purpose and applications. Participants will learn the key differences between psychological and neuropsychological assessments, how to interpret neuropsychological reports and the common tools used across settings of care. The webinar will also discuss how to identify individuals who may benefit from a neuropsychological evaluation across a variety of diagnoses. Finally, learners will take away practical tools and strategies to address deficits identified through neuropsychological evaluation, educate patients and families about the impact on daily functioning and support ongoing recovery and community reintegration.

LEARNER OUTCOMES
Upon completion of this webinar, participants will be able to:  

1. Describe the role of neuropsychology in rehabilitation and identify individuals who may benefit from neuropsychological evaluation.
2. Analyze key components and common findings of a neuropsychological evaluation to identify functional implications and inform rehabilitation planning.
3. List practical strategies to address neuropsychological deficits and support patients and families in optimizing daily function and recovery. 
   

SUCCESSFUL COMPLETION
Participants will be present during the live webinar in its entirety and complete an attendance verification and feedback survey in the Academy Learning Portal within one month of the live air date.
