Book Club: The Unexpected Mrs. Pollifax by Dorothy Gilman
You will be assigned to one book club time. 10AM-11:30AM or 12PM-1:30PM Central Time.

Join us as we follow the adventures of Mrs. Pollifax. Mrs. Pollifax is a widow from New Jersey in the 1960s. Her children are grown and married. Mrs. Pollifax is tired of volunteering and attending garden club meetings. She wants to do something good for her country. So, Mrs. Pollifax becomes a CIA agent!

Mrs. Pollifax takes on a “job” in Mexico City. The assignment doesn’t sound dangerous at first, but something goes wrong. Mrs. Pollifax finds herself caught in a situation involving the Cold War. Mrs. Pollifax turns out to be a surprisingly strong enemy.

AND/OR

Conversation Group: You will be assigned to one conversation group. 12:30-1:30PM or 2:00-3:00PM Central Time

Come join the conversation! This is an opportunity to talk about anything you want – what is happening in the world, politics, entertainment, living with aphasia, what is going on with you. Topics are up to the group! Converse in a supportive environment with others who have aphasia.

Spanish Conversation Group is offered on Zoom on Wednesdays at 2:00PM Central Time. Please contact Erin Blaze at eblaze@sralab.org or 312-238-8186 for more information.
