Description: This webinar provides participants with an overview of caring for performing artists, including the similarities and differences between athletes and performing artists and key components of the history and physical exam of a performing artist.  Additionally, several performing artist diagnoses and treatment plans will be explored in a case based approach.

Objectives: Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to:

  • Describe the similarities and differences between caring for athletes and performing artists.
  • Discuss the key components of the history and physical exam of a performing artist.
  • Explain the unique diagnoses and treatments in performing artists to better appreciate the creativity clinicians must have when caring for these patients.
