Description: Prostate cancer is the second leading cause of cancer in men worldwide. On average, there is a greater than 99% survival rate when prostate cancer is detected early. The most common surgery for prostate cancer is prostatectomy causing many men to experience incontinence and sexual dysfunction that impairs social participation and intimate relationships. This webinar will provide healthcare professionals with evidence-based interventions to improve survivors of prostate cancer’s quality of life.

Learner Outcomes: Upon completion of this webinar, participants will be able to: 

  1. Describe how bladder and sexual dysfunction can impact a prostate cancer survivor's self-care and quality of life
  2. Define two evidence-based interventions for supporting occupations when experiencing urinary incontinence and sexual dysfunction following prostatectomy

    Successful Completion: Participants will watch the on-demand recording in its entirety and complete an attendance verification and assessment in the Academy Learning Portal. You will have three months from the date of purchase to complete and review the course material. You will receive a reminder email two weeks before the expiration date.
