Enhancing your Emotional Intelligence through Awareness & Self-coaching
DESCRIPTION
‘Feelings’, or ‘emotions’ are typically taboo subjects in the workplace. However, they are also foundational to how we interact and communicate with others, and often precede our actions. To be successful in the workplace, we can’t ignore or suppress them. Can we become more emotionally intelligent so that we can harness the power of our emotions? Yes! This session explores key dimensions of emotional intelligence (EI) and how we can use a self-coaching model to enhance our EI skills. We can display emotions and not ‘be emotional’.
